Treatments FAQ

How do I choose the right treatment?
Start with what's bothering you. Each skin concern page lists the treatments that address it, or take the 60-second skin quiz for a recommendation. Every appointment starts with a skin check, so Anna adjusts the plan once she sees your skin. Still unsure? Book a consultation.
What's the difference between a facial and a peel?
A facial cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and treats the skin with little or no downtime. A peel uses acids to lift damaged layers so newer skin comes through, which is what moves scars, pigmentation and rough texture. Lighter peels flake for a few days; deeper peels peel for about a week. Compare every peel.
Which treatments have no downtime?
LED Light Therapy, Salmon DNA, Bio-Brasion, Microcurrent, Exosome and Dermaplaning. You can go straight back to work or out that night. The Retinol Peel and Microdermabrasion can leave light redness or flaking for a day or two. The Jessner Peel peels for a few days and the TCA Peel for about a week, so plan those around events.
Can I combine treatments in one visit?
Often, yes. LED or an acne peel can be added to most facials, and add-ons like extra extractions, a Super-C glow infusion or an eye contour booster are on the price menu. Anna decides what is safe to combine on the day based on how your skin looks.
How often should I come in?
Every 4 to 6 weeks keeps most skin on track. For active acne or scarring, a series works best: monthly facials, or 3 peels spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, then maintenance. Anna gives you a plan after your first visit.
Do you offer packages?
Yes. A package of 3 sessions of any treatment is 10% off (valid 4 months), and a package of 6 is 20% off (valid 7 months). Packages are for the same treatment and the same client. See all prices.
What's best for sensitive skin or rosacea?
Calming, gentle options: LED Light Therapy, Bio-Brasion, the Exosome Facial and the Salmon DNA Facial. Stronger peels are possible after a patch test once your skin has settled. More on rosacea.
Are peels safe for darker skin tones?
Yes, with the right prep. Anna patch tests before medium-depth peels and may start you on a short pre-treatment routine to lower the risk of pigmentation. Many clients with deeper skin tones start with the Retinol Peel.
How much do treatments cost?
Each treatment page lists its price, and the full menu is on the pricing page. A consultation is included with every treatment, and new clients get 10% off their first facial through the skin quiz.
