Why I became an esthetician

Meet Anna

I struggled with problematic skin for years, and I know how frustrating and isolating that feels. It's what led me to study skincare seriously, get licensed as an esthetician, and spend my career helping people feel confident in their skin.

I opened NewskinLA to be the place I wish I'd had: real guidance, treatments built around your skin, and honest answers without the confusion.

My skin journey and how I work

I had inflammatory acne for ten years. I tried hundreds of products, went to countless dermatologist appointments, and kept ending up at the same answer: Accutane, which I didn't want to take. It was frustrating and isolating, and I still didn't know what would actually work for my skin.

Learning why my skin was reacting the way it did is what changed everything. It made me want to study skin properly, get licensed, and open NewskinLA.

I've been where you are, so I don't guess and I don't oversell. Every visit starts with your skin under the light and a conversation about what you've used, what's changed and what you want.

I'd rather tell you a treatment isn't right for you than book it. Your plan is built around what your skin needs now, with home care short enough to actually follow. If something needs a dermatologist, I'll tell you.

Yes. Anna is licensed by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, license #ANNA-LICENSE-NUMBER. You can verify it on the California DCA license search.
Will Anna do my treatment herself?
Yes. NewskinLA is a one-esthetician studio, so Anna does every consultation and every treatment, start to finish.
